Welcome from the Executive Director
Message Regarding the MTM Project
Since its beginning in 1999, the Mentoring and Training for Ministry (MTM) Project (previously the Ministry Technology Mentor Project) existed to enhance the skill sets and expertise of people serving or preparing to serve in Lutheran ministries. Our mission was “…to equip His people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:12). God did many great things through the MTM Project, but the work of the organization has ceased. In January, 2017, the Executive Committee of its Board of Directors voted to dissolve the organization.
Concordia University Wisconsin will continue to honor the special “MTM member” tuition scholarship for current members. In addition, requests for professional development workshops will gladly be fielded by Dr. Michael Uden, Dean of the School of Education, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the end, as it was at the formation and launch of the MTM Project, it is simply about building the capacity and resources of the Body of Christ for ministry, “which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Thank you for visiting this web page and for your interest in the great work accomplished by the MTM Project through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In His service—and yours,
Michael Uden, Ph.D.
Former Treasurer, The MTM Project
