The MTM Project is dedicated to providing technology education and training to Lutheran church workers. Currently, with 105 schools across the US, we are the only program of this kind; a Lutheran organization working with Lutheran schools and churches. Read this testimony about how the MTM project helped this school.
Testimony - The introductory class (EDG 970, "Integrating Technology in the Classroom") that all of us took last summer has led to a variety of changes at our school. First, as the technology instructor for grades 2-8, I found that I was better able to communicate about technology with the other teachers. As a staff, we are employing the use of technology more frequently through the use of the Internet, software programs, and the use of Smartboards. Even the most novice computer users are venturing out to integrate technology when possible. As one colleague stated, "If I don't know how to do something, the students and I will learn it together."
For myself, I am now using the Smartboard and the wiki I developed for my classroom.
We are finding that our students are much more engaged in the learning process when technology is involved and they are less likely to be disruptive.
